Tech Governance Security Compliance and Governance Engineer
You lead audit remediation and cross-functional governance workstreams independently. You conduct IT security and architecture reviews, maintain governance policies, engage regulators and auditors, deploy AI-assisted compliance workflows, produce executive reporting, and monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Lead audit remediation programmes
- Assess gaps and drive verified closure across departments
- Own cross-functional governance workstreams
- Conduct IT security and architecture governance reviews
- Build and maintain IT governance policies and procedures
- Translate regulatory requirements into implementation guidance
- Lead regulator and auditor engagement
- Deploy AI-assisted workflows for evidence collection and control monitoring
- Produce governance dashboards and executive briefs
- Track regulatory changes and brief senior leadership
Requirements
- Daily use of AI tools for compliance and governance work
- Ability to build and scale AI-assisted workflows
- Working knowledge of AI governance and risk
- Ability to lead complex multi-stakeholder workstreams independently
- 8+ years in IT audit, risk management, compliance, or security governance
- 3+ years leading governance programmes
- Deep working knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, PCI-DSS, COBIT, and NIST
- Knowledge of GDPR and APAC data protection regimes
- Ability to interpret code, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents
- Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud, AWS, GCP, and security tooling
- Executive-level written and verbal communication in English
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
