Technical Analyst
You generate cash-market trading calls, design and refine derivatives strategies, interpret options data, and define risk controls. You codify and backtest systematic rules, translate research into platform features and content, and review portfolios for allocation, concentration, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Generate positional and intraday calls across indices and stocks
- Build and refine directional, spread, hedging, and volatility-based F&O strategies
- Interpret open interest, PCR, rollovers, implied volatility, option chains, and Max Pain
- Define position sizing and stop-loss logic
- Apply Greeks-based hedging
- Codify entry, exit, and adjustment rules
- Backtest systematic trading logic
- Stress-test strategies against volatility spikes and black-swan events
- Translate technical research into platform features
- Present market views through reports, videos, and live sessions
- Review client and model portfolios
- Recommend rebalancing and exit strategies
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical analysis or quantitative strategy design experience
- Cash equity and derivatives experience
- Technical analysis expertise
- Price action and volume analysis
- Market structure knowledge
- Understanding of Greeks
- Intraday and positional strategy design
- Experience with charting and backtesting platforms
- NISM Series-XV Research Analyst certification
- SEBI RA registration eligibility preferred
- Finance, mathematics, or economics background preferred
- CFA or CMT certification preferred
- Documented Indian markets track record
