About the role
This is a hands on architecture role at the centre of a significant consolidation project, working through what stays, what's replaced, and how it all fits together.
Reporting to the Systems Architecture Manager, this role is responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing the lifecycle of Canopy's application suite, supporting the Systems Architecture Manager and IT Applications Architect through significant consolidation projects
- Collaborating with business leaders and the IT team to translate requirements into scalable, efficient and secure application architectures
- Working with security and compliance teams to enforce relevant standards across applications,
- Provide the expertise to evaluate all available technologies to support sound investment decisions resulting in seamless, fit for purpose solutions.
- Providing technical guidance, mentorship and training as the IT team grows
- Have 3-5 years' experience in the consolidation of legacy and near legacy systems in a regulated environment
- Have exposure to a range of application technologies
- Hold a recognised industry certification and/or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Be able to work across a growing IT team and provide expertise and support on architectural decisions
