Technical Implementation Manager
Role Overview
The Technical Implementation Manager will own end-to-end technical delivery for every Sentinel deployment, guiding customers from technical qualification through POC and rollout. This person will be responsible for unblocking infrastructure, identity, and networking hurdles hands-on, standardizing a repeatable deployment playbook, and keeping leadership informed on delivery progress and risk. This role is built for someone with a strong technical project management background who takes extreme ownership with customers and internally, thrives as a hands-on builder in unstructured, fast-moving environments, and brings a true Individual Contributor mindset.
Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery for all active Sentinel POC’s (Proof of concept) and production rollouts.
- Run requirements-gathering with client IT/security teams (sizing, network, database, identity/SSO ownership).
- Track and unblock the provisioning phase, which lives mostly on the client side and is typically the slowest step.
- Coordinate preparation (certificates, credentials, licenses) and deployment (install, validation, phased agent rollout).
- Create, maintain and evolve the standardized pre-deployment playbook.
- Ensure every completed deployment ends with a clear action plan for the client on discovered risks, not just a technically "installed" system.
- Report deployment status and risk to BotCity's and the customer's team on a regular basis.
- Support customer training whenever needed, working cross-functionally with BotCity's and customer's team.
- Own calls with and reports to customers to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and engaged with POC and product deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record (5+ years) of running complex, multi-stakeholder technical implementations with B2B enterprise customers.
- Relevant experience with on-premise, hybrid, or private-cloud software (not pure SaaS onboarding).
- Working fluency with core infrastructure blockers, including Linux, containers, and network/firewall rules, able to diagnose and unblock deployment issues without an engineer.
- Working fluency with identity and endpoint deployment, including SSO/identity (SAML, EntraID, etc.), TLS/SSL certificate management, and endpoint deployment tools (Intune, GPO).
- Strong project management fundamentals, including scoping, timeline ownership, risk tracking and stakeholder engagement.
- Comfortable working directly with IT, Governance and/or Cybersecurity teams as counterparts, translating between technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with issue tracking / PM tools (Jira) for scoping, timeline ownership, and risk tracking across customer and internal teams.
- Comfortable with terminal/SSH and command-line operations for diagnosing Linux and container issues.
- Hands-on familiarity with containers (Docker; Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with SSO/identity admin consoles (EntraID/Azure AD, Okta).
- Prior experience in an early-stage, high-growth, and fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience working with MS Office/Excel, Google Suite, and Notion.
- Ability to travel as needed to events, conferences, and team meetings.
- English - Fluent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with security/compliance concepts (vulnerability management, governance frameworks).
- Prior experience in Cybersecurity, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), or compliance-adjacent software implementation.
- Familiarity with log/observability tooling (Grafana, Kibana, or similar) for reading deployment health during POCs.
- Spanish - Advanced.
