- Stakeholder alignment: Act as the primary bridge between technical development teams (engineers, UI/UX designers, QA) and construction-focused stakeholders or clients to translate site needs into technical requirements.
- Agile project management: Define project scope, manage sprints, track backlogs, and ensure timely software releases while maintaining strict budget controls.
- Integration & testing: Oversee system integrations, user acceptance testing (UAT) with site teams, and ensure high app performance, security, and scalability.
- Risk & change management: Proactively identify technical bottlenecks, scope creep, or deployment risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and present data-driven technical progress reports, milestone achievements, and product roadmaps to leadership.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5 years of proven experience as an IT/software project manager, specifically delivering construction-related software, mobile apps, or PropTech solutions.
- Technical savvy: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, API integrations, and cloud environments.
- Industry knowledge: Solid grasp of construction workflows, site operations, or common industry pain points to effectively build and deploy relevant tech solutions.
- Tools: High proficiency with project management and development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
- Language: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Mobility: Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia (if not already based there).
Nice to have:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Prior experience in the Saudi Arabia/GCC tech or construction market.
- Experience working in fast-paced software startups or technology consulting firms.
