Technical Programme Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Programme Manager to join a large, fast-paced digital transformation programme for an initial 6-month contract.

You’ll work across multiple product and technical workstreams, providing oversight of complex delivery across build, migration, integration and enablement activities. The environment has multiple technical domains, delivery teams and partners, so strong coordination and delivery leadership will be key.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple technical workstreams and dependencies.
• Maintain a clear and accurate view of overall delivery status.
• Work closely with technical delivery leads to improve planning, sequencing and delivery.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies early and help teams resolve them.
• Improve delivery flow, governance and decision-making where needed.
• Communicate clearly with executives and senior stakeholders.
• Represent technical delivery at programme and governance forums.
• Work across multiple delivery partners and vendors.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a seasoned Technical Programme or Senior Project Manager who can quickly understand a complex environment and bring structure, pace and calm to delivery.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Strong experience delivering complex technology transformation programmes.
• Experience coordinating multiple dependent technical domains.
• Strong programme planning and delivery management skills.
• Executive-level stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to work at both a strategic level and get into the detail when required.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, integration platforms or cloud-based environments.
• Experience working with multiple vendors or delivery partners.
