Technical Systems Analyst

Technical Systems Analyst Outside IR35:

My client are seeking an experienced Technical Systems Analyst to work on a high-priority, transformational initiative designed to modernise their core digital infrastructure, improve service resilience, and enhance cybersecurity readiness.

As a Technical Systems Analyst youll support the IT Improvement Project by analysing and troubleshooting technical issues within existing systems. The role involves gathering and documenting technical requirements, conducting system assessments, and providing recommendations for improvements.

Candidates MUST have the following skills / experience:

• Public sector experience (candidates without this can not be considered for the role)
• An understanding of IT infrastructure and system components, including servers, networks, storage, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and virtualisation.
• Strong grounding in IT operations processes, including incident, change, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of integration methods and dependencies, especially for transitioning legacy systems to new infrastructure platforms.
• Awareness of cybersecurity controls, data privacy (e.g. GDPR), and compliance.
• Experience working within hybrid agile/waterfall environments on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with public sector governance and delivery frameworks
