Test Analyst

Introduction & Summary:

This role requires a Test Analyst with over 5 years of experience in testing complex custom-built full-stack .Net web applications. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and possess relevant testing certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of software solutions and managing defects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Main Responsibilities:

A Test Analyst is required to ensure comprehensive testing of software solutions to identify and manage issues effectively.

• Plan and execute functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.

• Develop, manage, and execute both automated and manual test cases.

• Manage test planning, coordination, and execution; log and track defects using Azure DevOps.

• Validate changes against business requirements in the apprenticeship system.

• Support regression testing and release validation.

• Contribute to test documentation and process improvement.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years testing experience.

• Fluency in English.

• Relevant testing certification (ISTQB or equivalent).

• Experience in testing full-stack .Net web applications.

• Skills in test data management.

• Proficiency in writing Playwright automated tests.

• Experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate defects and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in Agile teams.

• Knowledge of SQL to run queries and update data.

• Project management skills.

• Experience liaising with development teams on incidents and fixes.

• Experience supporting end users on the custom full-stack system via support tickets.
