Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.
Seasonal Position: This part time role is available for the winter season.
Pay: $18-$20 per hour based on experience
Anticipated Start Dates: Around Thanksgiving week or the Beginning of December
Schedule: Will require working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Conditions: Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, hail, wind, and cold temperatures. Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions.
Overview of Position:
This position is responsible for ensuring positive guest experiences with interaction in the lift loading areas related to pass scanning and issues that may arise when a pass does not scan as Active, or guest has other pass-related issues. A Guest Ticket Scanner should have a basic understanding of all activities involved in the lift line loading and crowd control area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using pass scan tablet equipment and materials, ensure adherence to pass policies by guests entering lift loading area
- Coordinate with Lift Operations Manager, Tickets/Passes Cashiers, and Guest Services to troubleshoot pass issues.
- Assist Lift Operations staff with crowd control safety standards and protocol in loading area
- Escort and/or direct guests to appropriate department as needed.
- Deliver exceptional service in all guest interactions.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in stressful, noisy, crowded, and distracting situations.
- Must be comfortable interacting with both guests and employees in a positive, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to perform fine motor skills congruent with operating computers and smart phones.
