Transfer Pricing Manager

We are seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to own the day-to-day management of IFS’s local transfer pricing documentation across the Group’s 35+ jurisdictions, and to support the Transfer Pricing Director across the broader global documentation framework, compliance calendar, and other transfer pricing projects.

This role reports to the Transfer Pricing Director and works closely with external advisers, local finance teams, and global business leads, to ensure IFS’s transfer pricing documentation is accurate, consistent, audit-ready, and delivered on time. It is a hands-on role in a fast-moving, pre-IPO environment, suited to a technically grounded transfer pricing professional who takes ownership of their work and is comfortable managing complex multi-jurisdictional processes to a high standard.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Local File Management: Owning the preparation, review and delivery of Local Files across the Group’s jurisdictions, coordinating external advisers if needed and ensuring local files are completed on time, reflecting current transfer pricing policies, and are consistent with the Master File and Group methodology.
  • Global Documentation Support: Supporting the Transfer Pricing Director in maintaining and updating the Group’s global transfer pricing documentation framework, including the Master File and transfer pricing disclosures. Contributing to ensuring documentation standards and methodology are consistently applied across all jurisdictions.
  • Aibidia Platform: Managing the day-to-day use and maintenance of IFS’s Aibidia documentation platform, ensuring data quality, completeness and version control across all local and global documentation workstreams.
  • Functional Interviews: Supporting and coordinating functional interviews with global business and finance leads to gather information required for documentation, refreshing functional and risk profiles, and confirming that transfer pricing policies are correctly reflected in local entity operations.
  • Local Entity Reviews: Coordinating reviews with local finance teams to confirm that global transfer pricing policies are appropriately applied at the local level, identifying and escalating deviations or areas requiring policy clarification.
  • Benchmarking Support: Supporting benchmarking analyses across the Group’s key transaction types, assisting in database searches, comparables selection and report preparation, working with external advisers.
  • Compliance Calendar: Supporting the management of the Group’s transfer pricing compliance calendar, tracking local file deadlines and associated transfer pricing filing requirements across all jurisdictions, and flagging risks to the Transfer Pricing Director on a timely basis.
  • Audit Support: Assisting in transfer pricing audits and tax authority enquiries by preparing documentation responses and supporting materials.
  • Other Projects: Supporting the Transfer Pricing Director and wider tax function on ad-hoc projects, including policy implementation, business change analysis, and other initiatives as required.

Required Competence:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality in outputs.
  • Organised and methodical approach to managing multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ownership mindset - takes accountability for their work and follows through proactively to ensure delivery of outcomes.
  • Comfortable working independently while knowing when to escalate or seek direction.
  • Clear written communication skills, with the ability to produce well-structured, accurate documentation.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, able to work effectively with local finance teams, advisers and colleagues across the business.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, pre-IPO environment with a continuous improvement mindset.

Required Education & Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ADIT or similar), with at least two years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Career working in transfer pricing, either in-house or in practice.
  • Practical experience of preparing and managing transfer pricing documentation, including Local Files and/or Master Files.
  • Good knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines and their application to documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and deliver a documentation or compliance workstream independently, managing timelines, quality, and stakeholder coordination without close supervision.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the Big 4.
  • Experience coordinating or managing multi-jurisdictional transfer pricing compliance processes.
  • Experience with Aibidia or a comparable transfer pricing documentation platform, and working with databases (e.g. TP Catalyst).

  • Experience in a technology, software or industrial AI company.

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of AI tools and their application to transfer pricing and documentation processes.
  • Experience supporting a business through an IPO or listing process.
  • Experience of IFS Cloud/Apps.
