Treasury Operations Analyst - Insurance Liquidity Forecast

TEAM OVERVIEW
The Treasury Operations team supports a wide range of Treasury Operations functions for the insurance business, working collaboratively across Banks, the Investment Team, Third Party Administrators (TPA), Risk Management, and Accounts Payable to manage liquidity and cash activity across multiple legal entities.
POSITION SUMMARY
The successful Analyst must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while accommodating enhancements to the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily liquidity management processes supporting operations and investment activity by working collaboratively with Banks, Global Atlantic's Investment Team, Third Party Administrators (TPA), Risk Management, and Accounts Payable
- Perform daily review of forecasted items, comparing actual performance to previous forecasts, identify discrepancies and investigate root cause
- Support core daily activity including accounting, cash reconciliations, operational reporting, and bank account management
- Review and develop analyses, trending reports, and identify deviations from the norm
- Contribute to identifying process improvements and participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure
- Explore and apply AI tools to enhance personal productivity and drive innovation in team processes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 2 years work experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations role
- Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. treasury workstations, bank web portals) a strong plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strongly required
- Prior experience supporting financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus
- Prior experience in insurance industry a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
