Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative
TRUCK SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Reports To: Truck Sales Manager
Summary
The primary function of the Truck Sales Representative is responsible for the selling of new and used heavy duty and medium duty trucks. The position will increase market penetration by selling and developing market strategies to qualified customers in the designated area of responsibility and achieve unit goals and gross profit.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the position on a daily, weekly or annual basis.
- Contact new prospects via in-person cold calls, direct mail programs, email, and telemarketing.
- Utilize and Provide Information through the CRM tool.
- Develop and present sales proposals to prospects and new customers.
- Communicate with the sales team, in daily correspondence and weekly meetings.
- Maintain and expand customer base through close customer relations. Emphasis should be placed on building personal relationship with customers through conversation, education, enterprise value and customer service.
- Pursues training about new features of the product by participating in Kenworth Truck Company opportunities. Demonstrates knowledge of the product of competition.
- Maintain and develop sales plan for each year, using corporate documentation procedures, i.e. – call reports, expense reports, etc.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
