We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for clean and artful visual design, solid motion design capability, and a mature understanding of UI/UX principles — able to independently translate high-level, sometimes ambiguous requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional interfaces.

Purpose of Role

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to independently navigate ambiguity and make sound design decisions with limited guidance
  • Passionate about visual craft, motion design, and overall product experience
  • Understand and apply branding standards, ensuring visual and motion consistency across the product
  • Proficient with the tools and technologies being used (e.g. Figma, After Effects, Lottie, or similar motion tools), and comfortable leveraging AI-assisted design/creation tools to speed up workflows
  • Able to plan flexibly and manage your own time across multiple concurrent projects, as OpenNet (Fcom team) runs several initiatives in parallel
  • Work with the Test and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to address any issues

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the visual design language across the product (~70% of scope), ensuring polish, consistency, and modern aesthetics
  • Design and implement motion/animation assets (~15% of scope), such as interaction feedback, transitions, and campaign visuals (e.g. IV animation redesign)
  • Handle core UI/UX tasks (~15% of scope), including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, with the judgment to know when and how deep to go
  • Actively explore and apply AI tools (e.g. AI image/video generation, AI-assisted prototyping) to accelerate visual and motion production without compromising quality Strong writing skills and the ability to clearly articulate and justify design decisions to non-designer audiences
  • Collaborate closely with PM and developers, proactively raising trade-offs and pushing back when needed to land on the right visual/motion/UX solution
  • Confidently present and sell your design solutions to various stakeholders, including leadership - Produce final production visuals and motion assets that will be implemented into the product
