Venture Capital Analyst Intern
You will collaborate with the investment team to research investment themes and opportunities from early stage to growth. You will evaluate investments, model deal structures and returns, analyze companies and markets, join management and co-investor meetings, and prepare pitch decks.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and evaluate investments based on risk and return fundamentals
- Assist with deal structuring and term sheet evaluation
- Model the economics of deal structures and their impact on returns in Excel
- Prepare discounted cash flow, competitive market, and development model analyses
- Join meetings with company management teams and co-investors
- Assist in preparing pitch decks for pipeline opportunities and portfolio investments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or liberal arts
- Graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Interest in business models, competitive dynamics, and innovation
- Interest in financial technology, cryptocurrency, capital markets infrastructure, and financial enterprise software
- Excellent behavioral and communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Work authorization in the United States without sponsorship
