Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and manpower.
- Monitor warehouse performance and implement operational improvements.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory control practices.
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and training.
- Manage workforce planning, scheduling, attendance, and productivity.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of warehouse/logistics experience with at least 2–3 years in a management role.
- Experience managing large warehouse operations and teams.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in 3PL, manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, or distribution environments is preferred.
