Workshop Manager

Oversee the daily operations of the automotive workshop and ensure smooth workflow.

Plan, assign and monitor repair, maintenance, accident repair and servicing jobs.

Supervise technicians, mechanics, panel beaters, painters and other workshop staff.

Ensure all jobs are completed according to required quality standards and within the agreed timeline.

Monitor workshop productivity, manpower allocation and job progress.

Conduct quality checks before vehicles are released to customers.

Coordinate with service advisors, customers, suppliers and insurance companies when required.

Manage workshop equipment, tools, spare parts and consumable materials.

Ensure proper documentation of repair jobs, work orders and vehicle records.

Handle technical issues and provide guidance to workshop staff.

Monitor staff performance, attendance and discipline.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental and company procedures.

Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety of the workshop.

Control operating costs and minimise unnecessary material and labour wastage.

Assist management in improving workshop efficiency, productivity and profitability.

Handle customer complaints and resolve workshop-related issues when necessary.

Perform other duties assigned by management.
