Workshop Supervisor / Service Manager

• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults. • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks. • Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspension systems, and exhaust systems. • Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment. • Troubleshoot engine, electrical, and performance-related issues. • Perform vehicle servicing according to manufacturer specifications. • Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functionality. • Maintain accurate service and repair records. • Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and regulations. • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. • Assist in identifying spare parts requirements and report inventory needs. • Support other workshop activities as required.

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Training in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, Vehicle Mechanic, or Automotive Technician. • Experience working on passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, or fleet vehicles. • Experience with diagnostic equipment and repair tools. Knowledge & Skills • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair guides. • Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting. • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices. • Understanding of workplace health and safety standards. • Good problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Basic computer skills for service reporting and diagnostics.
