We are seeking a CAD Drafter – Operational Technology to join our OT SCADA team for the successful project delivery, adoption, and value realization of the products and services our customers have purchased.

This position is remote, based in Mexico, working with other team members in Mexico, US and Philippines. The CAD Drafter reports directly to the OT SCADA Design Manager.

Create SCADA drawing packages, sheet sets, sketches, and other related drawings using AutoCAD and or Civil 3D software.

• Convert PDF or other image files to AutoCAD drawing, and vice versa.

• Maintain CAD blocks, templates, and libraries.

• Update existing drawings as new information becomes available.

• Work with other team members to iterate design deliverables.

• Utilize AI and Automation tools to generate and update drawings

• Perform other responsibilities as necessary to support the successful completion of project

• Extensive working knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, to be able to

  prepare technical drawings efficiently.

  • Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals.

  • Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines.

  • Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards

  • Advanced mathematical skills

  • Experience designing communications or SCADA drawings is a plus

  • Experience in the renewable energy space is a plus

• Familiarity with software like SolidWorks and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of or exposure to SCADA systems and drawings.
• Interest in or exposure to AI and automation tools within drafting workflows.
