Construction Manager - Building
You will oversee all phases of construction, including site development, structural and base-building work, MEP systems, interior build-outs, and final turnover. You will manage costs, schedules, quality, safety, vendors, subcontractors, inspections, change orders, commissioning coordination, and compliance with building codes and permitting standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction across site work, structural systems, exterior envelope, MEP infrastructure, and interior or tenant-improvement build-out
- Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, and safety
- Oversee data halls, electrical and mechanical rooms, offices, finishes, HVAC distribution, and interior layout changes
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
- Conduct site inspections and enforce QA/QC and safety standards
- Coordinate with design, engineering, operations, and commissioning teams
- Provide updates on progress, risks, milestones, and cost
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permitting, and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 5+ years in construction management
- Experience with large commercial or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Proficiency with Procore, Primavera or MS Project, and Bluebeam
- Excellent vendor, schedule, and communication skills
- Ability to travel approximately 30%
