【Cost Manager】Associate Director - (Osaka)
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an AD / Director in our Cost Management division to strengthen our Canberra based team. The successful candidate will be degree qualified with considerable industry experience and a passion for growing and mentoring teams.
- Leading existing key client relationships.
- Create and develop new client and consultant relationships and opportunities in the market.
- Be a proactive member of the Canberra senior leadership team, with responsibility to grow and develop the cost management team.
- Working closely with our wider CM business, in particular NSW.
- Take responsibility for your own deliverables and ensure all commitments are completed.
- Participate in the development of the business plan and take ownership for the delivery of project and overall business targets.
- Demonstrate our Purpose, Vision & Values in your everyday activities, setting an example for excellence.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering or equivalent
- Good command of written and spoken Japanese and English
- Candidates with Construction Cost Estimation or Quantity Surveying experience is required
- Experience across the full range/ if not, majority of Cost Management duties including: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle negotiation
- Experience from consultancy background is highly preferred.
- Team player with excellent problem solving skills
