Group HR And Training Manager
About the role:
Unlimited Group is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Group HR & Training Manager to lead and oversee the full HR and training function across all group brands. This is a leadership role responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving the people strategy, ensuring operational excellence, workforce stability, and a strong performance-driven culture.
Key responsibilities:
HR strategy & workforce planning
Develop and implement HR structures aligned with business growth and operational needs
Lead manpower planning across restaurants, central kitchen, head office, and new projects
Identify staffing gaps, risks, and organizational inefficiencies
Recruitment & onboarding
Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles across all business units
Ensure proper candidate screening, hiring processes, and onboarding programs
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles
Training & development
Design and manage training calendars across operations, service, kitchen, and leadership roles
Implement train-the-trainer programs, certifications, and performance-based training
Ensure training aligns with operational standards, guest experience, and brand quality
Performance management & KPIs
Develop and maintain job descriptions, KPIs, and performance review systems
Support managers in performance evaluation, promotions, and improvement plans
Ensure data-driven performance decisions
Employee relations & compliance
Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and HR compliance
Ensure alignment with labor laws and company policies
Manage workplace culture, communication, and employee engagement
HR operations & administration
Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, employee records, and HR documentation
Coordinate with finance on payroll processes and reporting
Maintain accurate HR systems and documentation
Pre-opening & expansion support
Lead HR readiness for new openings, including hiring, onboarding, and training
Align with operations and project teams to meet opening timelines
Support post-opening stabilization and performance tracking
Reporting & leadership
Provide regular HR reports on recruitment, turnover, training, and performance
Lead and develop HR and training teams across all locations
Continuously improve HR processes and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 7–10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in F&B, hospitality, or multi-site operations
- Proven experience in recruitment, training, performance management, and HR operations
- Experience in new openings and building HR systems from scratch is a must
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
