Intermediate Software Qa Engineer
About the role
As an intermediate software QA engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for independently planning, designing, and executing testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in software quality assurance and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios.
- Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Identify and track defects, verifying fixes and performing regression testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, business analysts, and product owners.
- Estimate testing effort and support project planning activities.
- Review and improve documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Support UAT and production release validation.
- Contribute to QA standards and mentor junior QA engineers when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of QA experience.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to manage multiple testing activities with minimal supervision.

- Experience mentoring or coaching junior QA engineers.
- Experience in enterprise software environments.
