Junior Ace Software Engineer
Job summary
We're looking for a passionate junior AEC software engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and is eager to build software for the architecture, engineering & construction (AEC) industry.
As a junior AEC software engineer, you will work closely with senior developers and fire protection engineers to develop and enhance Autodesk Revit add-ins, automation tools, and intelligent software solutions. You'll participate in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications that improve engineering workflows through BIM technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
- Build and enhance Autodesk Revit add-ins
- Collaborate with software developers and engineering teams
- Debug, test, and optimize software solutions
- Learn and work with BIM technologies and the Revit API
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of software development experience
- Good knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Understanding of .NET Framework / .NET Core
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and the Revit API
- Understanding of building information modeling (BIM)
- Experience with WPF, Python, or Azure DevOps
- ITI graduates (software development / .NET tracks) are highly preferred
