Our tech team is looking for a new colleague to help build and improve the electronics that turn our drones into precision measuring instruments. If you enjoy hands-on hardware work in a greentech environment and want real ownership over what you build, we want to hear from you.
About the job
You will be part of a small, talented tech team, responsible for designing, building and maintaining our fleet of custom UAV deployed across the world to help map critical emissions.
Responsibilities:
Developing payload firmware that communicates with our drone systems (MAVLink / DJI) and onboard gas instrumentation and other sensors.
Helping to bring new sensor instruments from datasheet to bench to flight.
Improving and fixing existing payloads, diagnose issues on the bench and through in-flight data, harden the firmware, and ship the fix.
Building small interface and breakout PCBs in KiCad, from assembly and bringing it up through to your own revisions.
Potential for CAD and other mechanical work, depending on your qualifications.
About you
A bachelor's degree or similar/higher in electronics, robotics, computer engineering, mechatronics, physics or similar.
1+ years of hands-on experience, from your studies, a project, or a job.
Tinker with Arduino/Raspberry Pi type projects.
Wired up and used Serial/UART, I²C, SPI, etc., not just read about them.
Basic C/C++ (or Arduino) and a bit of Python.
English at a professional level.
Nice to have
Curiosity about drones, sensors and physical measurements.
PCB design/KiCad experience, with signal/noise integrity knowledge.
CAD and/or mechanical knowledge.
Python for log analysis and quick tooling.
Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
