Junior Structural Design Engineer Consultant
About the role
As a structural design engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project requirements, and applicable building codes. You will contribute to project delivery through technical expertise, coordination, and high-quality engineering documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for reinforced concrete and steel structures across a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
- Develop structural models and engineering calculations using industry-standard software.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, design reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Ensure all structural designs comply with local and international design codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in BIM coordination and contribute to the development of accurate structural models.
- Conduct engineering calculations and support QA/QC reviews to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and provide technical support during construction when required.
- Assist in resolving technical design challenges and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and support project delivery within established timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in structural design engineering.
- Experience within an engineering consultancy environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
- Proficiency in BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit.
- Strong experience using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of structural analysis, engineering standards, and building codes.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet project deadlines.
