Qualifications for a DG Analyst

1. Healthcare knowledge (15%)
   1. familiarity with healthcare system (commercial and Medicare), terminologies and regulations.
2. Data Mapping Skills (25%)
3. Experience in mapping data elements from source systems to target systems to ensure data integrity.
4. Ability to document mapping specifications (Field to Field) and (Value to Value) and transformation effectively.
5. Understand of data lineage and impact analysis for changes in date source.

Lead medium sized data governance projects. Oversee data governance standards and documentation. Mentor junior team members. Collaborate with other departments.

1. Analytical Skills (20%)
   1. strong ability to analyze data and understand complex information.
   2. Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation.
2. Data Quality & Controls
   1. Ability to define data quality checks, rules, and validation processes.
   2. Familiarity with data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, validity).
3. Technical Skills (15%)
   1. Proficient in MS Excel for analysis.
   2. Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for writing queries to aggregate, select, and join tables, as well as identify data issues.
   3. Familiarity with data governance/metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Purview).
   4. Experience with documentation and visualization tools (Visio, Power BI).
4. Team Collaboration (20%)
   1. Ability to participate in meetings, take notes, and develop action plans.
   2. Work independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Project Management (5%)
   1. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) .
