Murex Back office System Analyst

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business needs.
Design and execute test cases for trade lifecycle events and accounting processes.
Support SIT/UAT phases and assist in obtaining user sign-offs.
Document functional flows, test results, and provide post-implementation support.
Assistin analysing downstream systems and reporting interfaces.

Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 6–9 years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution
You must have hands-on experience with Murex 3.1 Back Office including trade event processing and
MxML workflows.
You will be involved in requirement analysis, functional specification, and testcase preparation for Murex and its downstream interfaces.
You are expected to support SIT/UAT phases, ensure proper documentation, and assist in transitioning solutions to production teams.
You will work closely with developers and architects to ensure solutions meet business, regulatory, and system integration standards.
You will support downstream data flows from Murex to data warehouses and regulatory reporting systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery offinancial data
MurexModules: Back office, Trade Event Management, OSP, MxML
TechnicalTools: SQL (data analysis), Excel
Domain Expertise: Trade lifecycle, Confirmations & Payments, SWIFT, MX & MTmessages, CLS, regulatory reporting (preferred)
