We are seeking an experienced Named Account Manager to join our Enterprise team in Italy, with specialist responsibility for Security Operations (SecOps).
This is an opportunity for a proven enterprise cybersecurity sales professional with strong SecOps expertise to develop strategic customer relationships, engage senior security stakeholders and drive opportunities across Fortinet's Security Operations portfolio.
The successful candidate will combine strong enterprise account management and new business development skills with a deep understanding of Security Operations, including threat detection, investigation, response and security analytics.
As a Named Account Manager – Security Operations, you will:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on Security Operations opportunities across named enterprise accounts.
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Engage with senior security stakeholders, including CISOs, Heads of Security, SOC Leaders, SecOps Leaders, security architects and technical decision-makers.
- Understand customer security strategies, operational challenges and business priorities to position relevant Fortinet solutions.
- Lead consultative sales engagements focused on improving threat detection, investigation, response, automation and overall security effectiveness.
- Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation and closure.
- Build strong, long-term relationships across named enterprise accounts and identify strategic opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers, Security Specialists, Channel teams, Marketing, Professional Services and other internal stakeholders.
- Work with channel partners to identify opportunities and accelerate customer adoption and success.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and strategic account planning.
- Stay current with cybersecurity market trends, emerging threats, competitive positioning and Security Operations technologies.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a successful enterprise sales professional with specialist Security Operations expertise and a proven track record of selling complex cybersecurity solutions into enterprise organisations.
You will have:
- Proven experience selling cybersecurity solutions into enterprise customers, with specific experience in Security Operations / SecOps.
- Demonstrable experience selling or positioning technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR, NDR, MDR, threat intelligence, security analytics, SOC automation or equivalent Security Operations platforms.
- Strong understanding of SOC and Security Operations environments, including modern threat detection, investigation and response.
- Experience engaging senior security stakeholders, including CISOs, Heads of Security, SOC Leaders, SecOps Leaders, security architects and technical decision-makers.
- A successful track record managing complex enterprise sales cycles, developing new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Experience managing and developing named enterprise accounts, identifying strategic opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer security strategies and align solutions to business and security outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with channel partners within an enterprise, channel-led sales environment.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to operate independently and drive growth across a defined enterprise territory.
Experience within a cybersecurity vendor, Security Operations platform, SOC environment or related enterprise security technology is highly desirable.

This role is governed by the applicable CCNL, including its classification, minimum salary levels and pay progression rules, and benefit. In line with EU pay transparency requirements, remuneration is determined based on objective factors, including the relevant National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), the specific job profile, and seniority level. The target gross annual salary (RAL - Retribuzione Annua Lorda) for this position is expected to range between €70,000 and €95,000. The exact salary offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and specific geographic location/work arrangements.
