Position Title: Client & Operations Manager – Labeling & Artwork

Location: São Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid Model – On-Site / Remote)

Language Requirement: Fluent Brazilian Portuguese & Business English (Spanish is a plus)

Position Summary

The Client & Operations Manager acts as the strategic and operational lead for our key regional client accounts . This role operates on a Hybrid model and must be based in the São Paulo vicinity, serving as the primary day-to-day liaison between regional client leadership, SGx Lead Artwork Managers, and SGx Production Studios .

Combining account management excellence with end-to-end operational governance, this position owns both the commercial client relationship (revenue growth, KPIs, QBRs) and team execution (capacity planning, quality assurance, CAPA, and controller governance) from concept to completion .

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management & Strategic Client Relationships

Lead tactical and key relationships with regional Labeling and Artwork client leadership and departmental leads .
Own client retention and financial performance metrics, driving account health, revenue targets, forecasting, margins, and credit term compliance.
Drive disciplined reporting and communication, including leading Quarterly (QBR) and Annual Business Reviews.
Work with the Regional Sr. Account Director to identify value-creation opportunities and develop innovative proposals .

2. Operational Quality, Governance & Project Execution

Own operational quality end-to-end, ensuring Right First Time (RFT) delivery across the client portfolio .
Drive process standardization, optimization, and adherence to client standards using operational tools (MDs, Guidebooks, and QR procedures) .
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes to resolve complex technical problems .
Initiate and lead project kickoff meetings, solution reviews, and direct the project management activities of the team .

3. On-Site & Hybrid Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, coach, and train a team of direct reports (Controllers / Project Managers) in São Paulo .
Manage hiring, onboarding, capability development, and succession planning .
Build and maintain capacity plans to balance workload against client demand .

Role Requirements & Qualifications

Location & Work Eligibility: MUST be currently residing in the São Paulo vicinity and willing to work in a Hybrid (On-site / Remote) arrangement .
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Engineering, or a related field .
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, account management, or artwork coordination within CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Health Authority/Pharma packaging environments .
- Proven leadership experience managing direct reports (minimum 4 direct reports) .
Languages:
- Brazilian Portuguese: Native / Fluent .
- English: Business-fluent (written and spoken) — CV and application must be submitted in English.
- Spanish is a plus .
Technical Skills: High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and artwork workflow toolsets .
