Project Manager / Dev Unit Lead
You will lead a cross-functional IT development unit and oversee the full lifecycle of crypto and fintech initiatives. You will manage priorities, backlogs, requirements, deadlines, releases, budgets, quality, stakeholder expectations, Agile delivery, and communication across internal and external teams. You will also maintain Jira and Confluence documentation and resolve project issues.
Responsibilities
- Operate a cross-functional IT development unit within a larger team
- Resolve current project issues
- Represent the unit in internal and external communications
- Manage the full development cycle including production releases
- Maintain business requirements and the value of delivered tasks
- Manage unit priorities and backlog
- Define new tasks with business, product, and analyst stakeholders
- Manage deadlines
- Analyze, decompose, evaluate, and control task execution
- Organize unit work using Agile methodologies
- Collect and process business requirements and translate them into tasks
- Manage business customer expectations
- Build effective communication with teammates across the company
- Maintain Jira and Confluence documentation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, Team Lead, System Analyst, or Delivery Manager in a fast-paced IT development team
- Experience working in fintech or a core functionality team
- Strong knowledge of modern development processes and stages
- Agile methodology and ritual experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical background
- Analytical skills
- Systems thinking
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience writing technical specifications and requirements
- Careful management of tasks and internal documentation in Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with high-load systems
- High level of independence and ownership
- Confident spoken and written English at upper-intermediate level or higher
