Security Engineer
You support US-based customers by analyzing Web3 asset risks, configuring and customizing security monitoring tools, scripting integrations and custom logic in Python, delivering training, collaborating with partners, supporting sales proposals, and guiding customers through implementation and daily use.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customers' Web3 assets and security postures
- Assess security risks and advise on monitoring configurations
- Develop monitoring and response plans
- Communicate potential security issues and threat landscape changes to customers
- Collaborate with technology and ecosystem partners
- Deliver security training and enablement sessions
- Support sales scoping, proposals, and technical positioning
- Configure and customize the platform for customer environments
- Create custom rules, integrations, and Python scripts
- Support integration of security practices into existing workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- In-depth understanding of Web3 technologies, decentralized systems, and blockchain security
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards
- Working proficiency in Python
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with external partners
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience in customer-facing engagements
