Senior Integration Solution Architect
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Strategy & Domain Architecture (Freedom & Quality)
Define, design, and govern enterprise-grade integration architectures across our hybrid-cloud ecosystem, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and low latency.
Act as a Segment Domain Expert: Deeply understand the business processes, data flows, and operational nuances of our core business segments (e.g., Petcare, Snacking, Food) to design integrations that solve real business problems.
Architect end-to-end integration flows connecting core enterprise systems, including ERPs (SAP S/4HANA), CRMs (Salesforce), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Retail POS systems.
Champion API-Led Connectivity and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) as the foundational paradigms for global business operations.
Establish reusable integration patterns, templates, and frameworks that accelerate time-to-market for digital initiatives across different business units.
2. Technology Leadership & Platform Governance (Efficiency & Quality)
Provide deep architectural expertise and hands-on design leadership across our core integration platforms:
SAP BTP Integration Suite (SAP BTP IS): Lead core ERP and cloud line-of-business integrations (e.g., Cloud Integration, API Management)
Azure Integration Services (Azure IS): Drive cloud-native workflows, event routing, and messaging using Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure API Managemen
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform: Govern API portfolios, design reusable RAML/OAS specs, and establish robust runtime engine deployments (CloudHub/hybrid)
Solace PubSub+: Design and implement real-time, high-performance event brokers and streaming frameworks for globally distributed supply chain and manufacturing operations.
OpenText: Architect secure, high-volume B2B integration networks and EDI systems to support transactional exchanges with global retailers and logistics partners.
Collaborate with DevOps and Platform squads to implement modern, automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code for integration deployments.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Mutuality (Mutuality)
Act as a trusted consultant to Business Partners, Functional Leads, and external partners, translating complex business processes into elegant technical designs.
Partner closely with security, data privacy, and compliance teams to enforce robust authentication standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), encryption at rest/transit, and compliance with global regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
Present clear, value-driven architectural proposals to digital leadership, demonstrating how technology choices support business enablement.
4. Continuous Improvement & Associate Mentorship (Responsibility)
Drive a culture of Domain Excellence within the technical team, encouraging developers and junior architects to build deep expertise in specific business segments and processes rather than remaining pure technical generalists.
Keep a pulse on emerging industry trends, cloud paradigms, iPaaS innovations, and modern B2B integration capabilities, steering the technology roadmap accordingly.
Establish a culture of shared learning; mentor junior integration architects and developers, conducting design reviews to elevate collective technical capability.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Industry & Domain Expertise (Mandatory)
CPG/FMCG Sector Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience working within a global Consumer Packaged Goods, retail, or manufacturing enterprise (or serving such clients in an architectural consulting capacity).
Segment Domain Mindset: Proven ability or strong desire to move beyond purely technical execution to become a true domain expert in core CPG business processes, specifically:
Order-to-Cash (O2C): Customer orders, pricing, billing, and retail POS integrations.
Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Supplier interactions and procurement flows.
Supply Chain & Logistics: Logistics execution, 3PL/4PL integrations, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory visibility, and product serialization (GS1 standards).
Technical Stack & Platform Expertise
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform: Solid experience designing and governing API-led connectivity, managing API policies, and configuring CloudHub.
Azure Integration Services: Proven expertise with Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure APIM.
SAP BTP Integration Suite: Deep hands-on experience integrating SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC) with external cloud platforms and cloud LOBs (Ariba, SuccessFactors).
Solace PubSub+: Experience implementing event mesh networks, real-time message routing, and publish/subscribe patterns.
OpenText: Proven track record in B2B/EDI integration, automated document processing, and managed integration services (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, AS2, SFTP standards).
Modern Protocols & Formats: Expertise in REST, SOAP, gRPC, JSON, XML, and flat-file integration patterns.
Soft Skills & Leadership
Principle-Driven Leadership: Ability to operate under a values-based framework, demonstrating strong personal accountability and mutual respect.
Collaborative Mindset: Strong active listening, communication, and negotiation skills, with an innate ability to build bridges across global, multicultural teams.
Problem-Solving & Agility: Strong analytical capability, comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, digital environment.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a highly related field.
Professional certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, SAP Certified Integration Associate, or Solace Certified Engineer) are highly desirable.
