Senior Manager - QA

• 15+ years of experience in Software Testing & Test Automation in Product/Solution development.
• Hands-on experience in Leading, Managing and developing QA team.
• Extensive experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
• Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle and is comfortable diving into the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions.
• Oversee the design and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Ensure thorough testing of software products, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Hands-on experience in designing and development of automation framework and creation of scripts using best industry practices.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience on API test automation using any automation tool like JMeter, Postman, RestAssured.
• Must have strong working knowledge of Database (SQL Server, Hive).
• Must have working knowledge of CI/CD implementation, DevOps Principles and Practices.
• Has a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business metrics, automate operational tasks, thereby driving process excellence and adoption of different tools and resources.
• Good understanding of functional & non-functional tests and is able to define test plans specific to the project needs.
• Has understood and adopted effective techniques of parallel testing in agile product development environment.
• Ensuring high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong knowledge or experience in cloud native technologies (Preferably Azure).
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to QA processes.

• Strong analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills.
• Proven expertise and ability to develop processes and procedures which will enhance the overall efficiency with a strong bias towards automation in all operational tasks.
• Responsibility for defining and driving functional/business goals.
• Great attention to detail and a results driven approach.
• Owning specific people programs on educating and development and team engagement.
• Established leadership with a bias towards action, supporting a culture of ownership and learning.
• Should be able to optimize & effectively manage resources and time.
• Review with the Overall Product Manager & AVP for Defect RCA & improvements in the testing process.
• Assessment and Progress meeting with AVP & above for additional product development features.
• Should be able to carry out healthy and constructive confrontation with team members, peers, multiple technical and business teams for the benefit of Product.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with Stakeholders across multiple lines of business on various project milestones, process changes, escalations, etc
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
