Senior Software Engineer - System Analyst - Bangalore

Job Description

Fidelity is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join their team for a legacy modernization project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, REST API, Spring framework, and Scrum methodology

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse existing legacy systems to understand current functionalities and dependencies.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.

Draft detailed requirements and technical specifications for the modernization project.

Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a System Analyst or similar role in a legacy modernization project.

Good understanding of Java, REST API, and Spring framework

Demonstrated ability to understand and analyse old codebases and systems.

Excellent understanding of Scrum methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Good to have

Certification in Scrum

Prior experience in financial services

Knowledge of Mainframe systems
