Solution Architect - ServiceNow CMDB / ITOM

Our client is undertaking a major ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB Uplift Program and is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide architecture leadership across the initiative. This is a high-impact role establishing the foundational architecture required to deliver a secure, scalable, and governance-led CMDB capability that underpins strategic technology outcomes across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern CMDB data structures, service hierarchies, and asset models
• Establish standards for asset tiering, lifecycle management, and Minimum Viable Service (MVS)
• Develop architecture patterns and guardrails to support CMDB growth and adoption
• Provide solution design oversight as Discovery expands across the environment
• Govern the onboarding of additional data sources into a CSDM-aligned CMDB
• Support integration of cyber security scanning platforms and other strategic technology data sources
• Work closely with platform, infrastructure, cyber, and service management teams to ensure alignment and consistency

About You

• Proven Solution Architecture experience delivering ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB initiatives
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and CSDM frameworks
• Experience designing secure enterprise architectures in complex, regulated environments
• Knowledge of network architecture, segmentation, security controls, and credential management
• Experience integrating infrastructure, cyber, and operational data sources into enterprise platforms
• Strong architecture governance and stakeholder management skills
• Experience establishing enterprise data models, standards, and operating processes
• Ability to operate across business and technology stakeholders and influence strategic outcomes

The Details

• Contract length: 12 months
• Location: Mascot, Sydney — 2 days per week in office (right candidate can work remotely; interstate applicants encouraged to apply)
• Rate: c.$1,200/day
